Nominations for the elective offices of the Society that will become vacant at the end of the membership year 2014–2015 are solicited. Submissions are due by October 15, 2015.

JAOS made the big time, specifically in the June 25 issue of The New York Review of Books where Emma Flatt’s “The Authorship and Significance of the Nujum al-‘Ulum: A Sixteenth-Century Astrological Encyclopedia from Bijapur” (131,2: 223–44) earned a citation (in William Dalrymple, “The Renaissance of the Sultans”).
